Job purpose
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Associate Attorney to join our team! We provide five-star legal service through our commitment to Communication, Respect, Professionalism, Proactivity, and Accountability. We aim to maximize our client’s recovery and minimize the delays many injured clients experience.
This position is ideal for an attorney who has completed a clerkship and / or has 1-3 years of experience in personal injury litigation. The Associate Attorney will gain valuable experience in all aspects of personal injury practice, working alongside a top-tier Partner certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction held by less than 3% of all attorneys in NJ (2.2%).
The Associate Attorney will make court appearances, write briefs, meet with clients, prepare discovery, attend depositions, argue motions in court, and, when ready, become a trial attorney. The Associate Attorney will also have the opportunity to work with our PIP Department by preparing arbitration submissions and appearing for PIP Arbitration hearings.

- Draft legal documents, including routine pleadings and motions, affidavits, and interrogatories, and file motions and pleadings according to judicial procedures.
- Draft PIP Arbitration Submissions and Rule 16 Summaries, appear for arbitration hearings.
- Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources; provide written analysis to attorneys.
- Assist in discovery, including drafting interrogatories, obtaining documents, and attending depositions.
- Assist other attorneys within the firm with trial preparation, including attending trials and hearings.
- Organize and maintain case files and legal documents.
- Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals to discuss assigned cases or projects.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with court deadlines, schedules, and procedural requirements.
- Provide general administrative support to the legal team.
- Work with our bodily injury team, including our attorneys and paralegals, to give five-star service to our injured clients.
- Work with our PIP team, including our attorneys and paralegals, to give our medical professional clients five-star service.
- Work well with and manage assigned paralegals.
- Participate in business development activities, including professional outreach, networking events, and identifying potential new client activities to support the firm's growth.
- Other duties as assigned.
