Who you are :

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager of Business Development to lead and optimize our Sales Development and Business Development teams. In this role, you will partner with the Senior Director of Global Sales Development team to refine processes, drive team performance, and ensure seamless collaboration between sales and marketing functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage Prospecting & Lead Generation :

  • Oversee proper distribution of leads across the sales channel and ensure lead-handling efficiency.
  • Teach and manage the utilization of tools such as CRM systems, social media platforms, and cold outreach to generate leads.
  • Optimize Sales Processes :

  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the sales funnel to improve efficiency and drive productivity.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of new sales development initiatives to improve results.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Accountability :

  • Hold team members accountable for achieving specific KPIs, including SQL and SAO targets.
  • Establish and track accountability metrics to ensure team success and continuous optimization.
  • Analyze performance metrics to provide actionable insights for leadership and guide top-of-funnel strategies.
  • Sales Team Enablement :

  • Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance sales productivity and simplify workflows.
  • Skill Gap Identification : Use performance data to pinpoint and address knowledge or skill gaps within the team.
  • Performance Coaching and Training :

  • Review historical and current reports to forecast future performance and refine strategies.
  • Provide continuous coaching, mentoring, and skill development for Business  Development Representatives (BDRs)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration :

  • Foster strong relationships between Sales Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and smooth communication.
  • Feedback Integration : collect and relay feedback to continuously improve team performance and management strategies.
  • Manage all aspects of the Sales Development team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Experience and Skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in a high-performance sales development role.
  • In-depth understanding of sales processes, tools, and training methodologies.
  • Proven experience managing a team of 10 Sales Development Representatives.
  • Expertise in Salesforce, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to present data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Proficiency in Outreach.io or similar sales engagement platforms.
  • Exceptional communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Able to build internal relationships with sales and marketing
  • Fast learner
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Enthusiasm and passion!
  • Restaurant Industry Experience a plus!
  • The base salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 (USD).
