Harrington Pepsi of Helena is currently looking for a full-time Warehouse Truck Loader in our Helena, MT warehouse. Position works in a team environment during the day. This position mainly involves packing and loading on-route trucks of pre-established orders for the next day's delivery. Once product loads have been built the warehouseman loads them onto the corresponding delivery truck.
The work of a warehouseman requires regular lifting, carrying, pulling and/or moving on hand trucks, delivery carts, and pallets while working the warehouse floor. Forklift Certification preferred, but NOT required, we can train and certify. In addition, the warehouseman position requires kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, and bending when loading and unloading products. We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals with a strong work ethic, good people skills, and the ability and ambition to move up.
Starting SALARY: $15 - $16 per hour DOE
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Load/unload delivery trucks and transports.
- Process receipt paperwork accurately.
- Pick and prepare pallets and carts with products in an accurate manner for truck loading
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or customer pick- up according to schedule
- Receiving and processing of warehouse stock products.
- Following inventory controls and upholding high quality standards. Report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years or older
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet most of the day.
- Forklift Certification preferred, but NOT required.
- Good written and verbal skills and basic math skills required
- Will request applicant to successfully pass drug test, background check and functional abilities test.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Previous warehouse experience especially in the beverage industry.
