Summary
Oversee the daily operations of Onion Jack's, to include staffing, menu development, and inventory and cost control, while monitoring food production, execution, and presentation. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned
Responsibilities
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Sets up cook line and maintains proper service and food levels.
- Create schedules for Onion Jack's and other outlets.
- Lead the kitchen team in food preparation and cooking to ensure high-quality dishes.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize waste while ensuring availability of ingredients.
- Oversee food service operations during shifts to maintain standards of quality and safety.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 year's appropriate experience
- ServSafe Certified.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in sanitation regulations and proper handling of all equipment and chemicals used in the department.
- Maintain a professional and comfortable working atmosphere.
- Team player.
- No felony convictions.
