What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sports Betting Teller position at Harrington Raceway & Casino?
SUMMARY
Responsible for selling and cashing betting tickets for horse races and sporting events. Maintains a cash bank for selling and cashing tickets. Must complete required paperwork and balance bank at end of shift. Perform other duties as assigned.
DUTIES
- Selling and cashing betting tickets
- Maintaining a bank for cashing and selling tickets.
- Familiar with all betting terminology.
- Converses with customers and assist them with all transactions, requests and complaints.
- Responsible for obtaining all pertinent information on patrons as needed.
- Responsible for being informed of any promotion or special events for the shift
Shift includes afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
