Chief Advancement Officer
Globally recognized non-profit is hiring a Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) who is as passionate about purpose as they are about results. As the most senior U.S.-based team member, the CAO will lead fundraising, marketing, and communications efforts and work hand-in-hand with the CEO, Board of Directors, and global partners. Your Impact
As CAO, you will:
• Lead fundraising strategy to meet ambitious annual revenue goals of $6–10M .
• Diversify income streams: major gifts, grants, corporate sponsors, planned giving, crowdfunding, and recurring gifts.
• Steward donor relationships, especially with high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and institutional funders.
• Manage and mentor a dedicated U.S.-based development and communications team.
• Amplify ASYV's voice through compelling campaigns, digital storytelling, and global outreach.
• Collaborate with the Board and CEO to support fiscal health, board development, and long-term sustainability.
What You Bring
• 7 years of experience in senior-level fundraising or advancement roles, ideally in international development or youth-centered nonprofits.
• A proven track record of securing major gifts and managing $6M fundraising portfolios.
• Experience leading and growing development teams.
• Strong relationship-building skills, cross-cultural fluency, and a heart for mission-driven work.
• Familiarity with fundraising tools (e.g., Raiser's Edge/NXT) and donor stewardship best practices.

Details
• Location: Remote, East Coast location.
• Travel: Monthly East Coast travel, quarterly domestic travel, and periodic trips to Rwanda
Annual Compensation: $150,000-$165000.
Salary : $6 - $10
