- A Bachelor’s Degree in a field emphasizing writing or communication
- Experience in business and family-based immigration (preferred not required)
- Superior writing/editing skills for complex support letters and strong written and oral communication skills – Please submit a writing sample with your job application
- Experience with MS Office and expertise with computer assisted legal resources
- The ability to manage multiple high-volume priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional, cooperative, positive and flexible attitude
The Immigration Paralegal is responsible for preparing a wide variety of business-based nonimmigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, E, and O-1) and immigrant (employment and family-based) petitions, including forms preparation, and supporting documentation. Do you have the DRIVE and DESIRE to:
- Manage high-volume corporate client accounts and work closely with client to provide comprehensive immigration services
- Compile and maintain records of immigration filings, other documentation, and records of activity on behalf of clients
- Review immigration regulations and be able to apply them to various case scenarios
- Perform research using all available immigration research tools including government agencies' websites
- Write detailed and complex supporting argumentation
- Enter case information into case management system
- Exhibit the ability to effectively multi-task, meet deadlines, and provide solutions in a fast-paced office setting
- Demonstrate good organizational skills for prioritizing workload

- Enjoy working with diverse personalities within various levels of the firm
- Complete a minimum 1400 billable hours annually
