What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cyber Security Analyst position at Harris Brand?
The purpose of your role as a Cyber Security Analyst
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will focus on protecting Harris from cyber-attacks by monitoring systems and remediating threats. The role will also support the implementation and management of cyber security policies, data loss prevention, vulnerability scanning and remediation, incident management and implementing/managing security tools.
Cyber Security Support:
- Lead MS-365 security & compliance efforts by ensuring security requirements are satisfied
- Review vulnerability assessment and remediation, and interface with technical teams to lead appropriate remediation response
- Lead incident response efforts
- Conduct security incident investigations, act as a security matter expert during cyber incident response and collaborate with technical teams to assure incident resolution is resolved
- Lead cyber security education and simulated phishing tests
- Work with infrastructure team to monitor the corporate network for security threats and breaches and remediate anomalies/breaches
- Determine security issues and gaps by using a risk-based approach
IT Team Collaboration and Support:
- Manage and track assigned projects within the PMO to execute technology strategy.
- High level of professionalism, objectivity and an open mind to new ideas and solutions.
- Provide support and resolution to T3 tickets escalated by T2 team, triaging support from vendors as needed.
- Support adoption of best practices and least privilege methodology to protect critical data.
Research and Development:
- Understand how CMMC and FedRAMP rules and regulations affect Harris and maintain compliance
- Maintain knowledge of technologies and the threat landscape.
What we're looking for in you
- 3 years of professional experience supporting, securing, and maintaining networks, servers, and cloud environments
- 3 years of experience with cloud-delivered commercial and government-based solutions such as Microsoft M365
- 3 years of experience analyzing emerging information security trends and recommending solutions
- Bachelors degree in cyber security, computer science, information technology, or related
- CompTIA Security certification preferred

Pay Range: $86,681 - $130,022 per year
