Role Overview:
The Project Manager will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints. This role involves resource planning, budget preparation, progress monitoring, and regular stakeholder communication. Key responsibilities include generating status reports, forecasting costs and revenues, maintaining schedules, and analyzing project budgets and earned value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the onboarding process for new team members when necessary
- Assist in setting up project offices
- Develop and communicate project plans, including safety orientations and training
- Maintain and update project documentation and filing systems (both physical and electronic)
- Coordinate stakeholder communication and secure their buy-in
- Estimate project costs and collaborate with others to create budgets
- Gain a thorough understanding of project contracts and ensure compliance
- Document and manage change orders as required
- Oversee project closeout procedures in line with company policies
- Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy and productivity
- Collaborate with accounts and billing teams to ensure accurate revenue tracking
- Provide end-of-month variance explanations related to forecasts
- Work with internal teams to establish projects in the accounting system

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of underground and overhead utility construction
- Strong communication skills to convey project requirements
- Familiarity with basic project management principles and methodologies
- Understanding of financial practices and strategic decision-making
- Ability to build effective partnerships and work independently
- Preferred: Project Management certification from a recognized institution
Salary : $115,000 - $130,000
