Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager specializing in all types of general civil infrastructure work on Heavy Civil projects (paving, grading, underground wet utilities). The Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering construction projects on time and within budget through the organization of logistics, delegation of work and accurately keeping track of spending. This role oversees all aspects of the project, including reviewing and approving time cards, managing cost codes, and providing weekly Look Ahead Schedules to clients. In addition, this role will prepare and present weekly reports on project status updates, weekly performance checks, forecasting future progress, and monthly financials such as work in progress (WIP) reports to ensure the project stays within budget. The construction Project Manager will also be responsible for conducting field visits, weekly client meetings, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients
Responsibilities
- 5 years experience in civil engineering construction and project management
- Knowledgeable in paving, grading, and underground wet utilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Proven ability to read and comprehend blueprints, project drawings, plans and specifications
- Proven experience with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
