The Talent Acquisition Specialist develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process utilizing various applicant tracking systems. This position proactively sources for qualified candidates using a variety of research and tracking methods, reviews applications and resumes, and selects candidates for further consideration. The specialist collaborates with managers to determine staffing needs, develops candidate profiles, executes recruiting plans and strategies to achieve staffing goals, and facilitates interviews. Regularly attends job fairs and hiring events to generate a qualified applicant pipeline.

Develops and maintains professional relationships with various professional organizations as a source to generate qualified applicants for full-time personnel needs. Coordinates interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
Regularly attends job fairs and hiring events to generate a qualified applicant pipeline Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents analytics to include hiring, turnover, and personnel eligible to retire (succession planning), or any other reports that provide insight into current and future staffing needs.

- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum four (4) years' experience in full cycle recruiting or talent acquisition.
- Excelling written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.
- Ability to build, maintain, and establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite and learn new software programs when needed.
- Detail-oriented and strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Ability to handle confidential materials with considerable personal tact and initiative.
- Ability to exercise flexibility in responding to changing priorities while still adhering to established policies and procedures.

Position Type and Typical Hours Work:- This is a full time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.
- Typical work week hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- There are no major sources of discomfort.
- A normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature, and air conditions is provided.
- This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
