Under general supervision, the Custodian is primarily responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the buildings and cleaning and light maintenance of the grounds, receiving deliveries from vendors and making deliveries of supplies. Required to provide services for the benefit of the general public during emergency situations.

Required to lift up to 45 pounds multiple times a day (5 gallon water bottles). Above average physical conditioning is required to be able to walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and stretching.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintenance of the inside of the buildings including, but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, maintain floors, cleaning windows, kitchens, rest rooms and assuring the rest room facilities are adequately stocked with paper good and emptying waste receptacles.
- Receiving deliveries from vendors and making deliveries of office supplies, cleaning supplies.
- Manages grounds maintenance including, but not limited to sweeping and washing entrances, cleaning windows, parking lots and grounds.
- Report hazardous conditions such as fires, vandalism, burglary and other emergency situations including hazardous conditions and items in need of repair.

- High School Diploma or GED
- A valid Texas driver's license and good driving record
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of tools, equipment and materials necessary to properly clean.
- Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
