Position Overview :
The Food & Nutrition Coordinator will support the management and implementation of new project initiatives centered around food distribution infrastructure within Harris County. The coordinator is responsible for working with each awarded vendor to achieve their key performance indicators and execute deliverables. The incumbent is also responsible for collecting and distributing progress reports and presentations to Harris County Office of Administration and Executive Leadership. A successful candidate must exhibit strong administrative skills, project management experience, and be solution driven.
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the coordination, management, and programmatic alignment of the vendors selected through the competitive RFP process
- Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and ensuring that the vendors, and their associated programs, align with the focus area, HCPH, and County goals
- Manage invoices, budget, and finances of each awarded vendor through duration of the project
- Identify best practice recommendations for program improvement strategies
- Prepare and present reports to ARPA Project Management Office and Executive Leadership
- Requires regular administrative maintenance to ensure compliance with ARPA federal regulation and United States Treasury
