Position Overview:
The TB Program Coordinator will support clinical and non-clinical services by coordinating all aspects of the TB Program. The position will support all aspects of TB program operations and will also provide programmatic updates to the program leadership. The Program Coordinator will ensure compliance with all Harris County Public Health policies and procedures by supporting the TB Program Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assists with monitoring the progress of the program's grant metrics & goals, notifying program and divisional leadership of progress towards achieving those goals regularly.
  • Supports the program team in administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining records and preparation of reports relating to programmatic operations.
  • Assists in the coordination of the day to day operations of the program, including but not limited to purchasing, invoice processing, staff recruiting and processing court requests
  • Assists in the planning, coordination and execution of program activities including maintaining and organizing program documentation.
  • Supports program leadership in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to the TB Elimination Program.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders by following up and ensuring tasks are completed timely.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience:
  • At least one (1) year experience working with an Electronic Medical Record System
  • At least one (1) year experience performing administrative office duties in a health care setting

Licensure:
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License (TX upon hire)

  • Proficient in MS office Suite (Word, Excel,PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and foster teamwork in a diverse environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information
  • Ability to work well with public and staff members

Position Type, and Typical Hours of Work:
  • Full-Time | Grant-funded
  • Monday to Friday | 8 am – 5 pm
  • Other days and hours as necessary.
  • Must be willing to flex work hours when required, including weekends.
  • Expected to travel within Harris County jurisdiction.
Work Environment:
  • This job operates in a professional office & community environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
Physical Demands:
  • This role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds and bending & standing for periods at a time.

Salary : $40,830 - $62,213
