Title: Estimation Coordinator
Reports to: Senior Estimator
Department: Operations
Job Status: Full Time, Exempt
Position Summary: This position is for a detail-oriented individual to support the Estimation Team at Harris Doyle Homes. In this role you would be responsible for managing heavy data uploads and collaborating with all departments to support the precision of our takeoffs. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work with various teams.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Focus on data entry and customer service while inputting information into our Enterprise Software (Kova)
- Enter project data into estimating templates accurately and efficiently
- Follow established processes to produce cost estimates based on input data
- Communicate with project managers and builders as needed for data clarification
- Maintain organized records of all estimates
- Contributes to the updating of documentation and procedures.
- Perform Field Audits as required in multiple divisions.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree (Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.)
- Relevant knowledge of residential construction industry
- Minimum 1 year experience in residential estimating, construction coordination, or related discipline working in an ERP system
- Bluebeam or similar software knowledge a plus.
- Effective use of Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of estimating/construction related software.
- Exhibits organized and structured approach to work.
- Ability to multitask.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel to other divisional locations.
