Title: Field Technician
Reports to: Area Manager
Department: Production
Job Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Mobility Profile: Field-based
Position Summary: Supports the Production & Customer Care Teams with quality control, site cleanliness, and provide diligent assistance with QA and preclosing action items.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Assist all builders in division with any needs in our communities.
- Assist Onsite Builder in overseeing the completion of QA & preclosing List.
- Maintain a clean & safe jobsite/work environment.
- Notify Builders, Project Managers, and Area Manager of construction quality issues while in communities.
- Notify Builders, Project Managers, and Area Manager of site cleanliness issues while in communities.
- Notify Builders, Project Managers, and Area Manager of jobsite BMP issues while in communities.
- Assist the Customer Care Team with Homeowner walks & Customer Care responses as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
- Ability to multitask
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work in non-temperature-controlled environments.
- Able to work while standing for long periods of time.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Work primarily involves standing / walking.
Travel Requirements:
- Occasional travel to other divisional locations.
