Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the New Home Consultant (NHC) is to facilitate the sale of new homes, both pre-sale and Quick Move, with an unwavering focus on the customer. The ideal candidate is an intrinsically motivated sales professional possessing both a strong ability to negotiate and excellent communication skills.
Days / Hours:
Thursday & Friday – By Appointment/Off
Saturday – Wednesday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
* The New Home Consultant will prepare their monthly schedule with the Sales Leader.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Manage the sales process and provide excellent customer service
- Work with Online Sales Consultant to move customers through the sales pipelines
- Source new customers - help customers find their dream home and ensure a smooth sales process
- Effectively present and communicate a variety of floor plans, features, and options
- Uncover and understand the customer’s goals and then establish HD as the best solution
- Overcome objections and close the sale
- Help create and manage community marketing plan
- Network and perform outreach to outside real estate agents and brokerages
- Maintain and manage database of prospects in HubSpot
- Develop and maintain good rapport with customers and increase the goodwill of the company
Qualifications:
- Valid real estate license
- Prior sales experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- HubSpot or relative CRM software experience preferred
- Able to thrive in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous customer service experience required
- Effective use of Microsoft Office programs.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as telephone, calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
- Constantly works in an indoor, temperature-controlled, sealed-window office environment.
- Work primarily involves sitting / standing.
