Compensation includes Builder Bonuses paid monthly based on attainment of goal completion.
DESCRIPTION
The primary duty of the Builder is to ensure all homes are built with care and to required specifications with a focus on providing exceptional customer experience. Builders communicate with Trades, Team Members, Agents, Municipalities, and Homeowners throughout the build of each home while leaving a positive impression with each interaction. The Builder will report to Production Area Manager over their designated area.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule and coordinate vendors, trade partners, inspectors and others for the construction of new homes in order to maintain scheduled baselines
- Maintain a clean and safe jobsite/work environment
- Maintain all required Best Management Practices for each home/community under your supervision
- Assist in permitting individual jobs as needed
- Review and approve purchase orders for work performed and materials ordered
- Communicate at least one time per week via telephone with each customer with our sales agent present
- Oversee completion of Verification of Completion List
- Meet with customers on site for walk-throughs and other meetings when necessary
- Participate in weekly team meetings
- Assist in recruiting trade partners
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times
- Adhere to and enforce OSHA requirements on the job site
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in Construction Management and/or equivalent experience is preferred
- One year residential construction experience
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to prioritize and have strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, with strong follow up and follow through
