Onion Sales Position
We are seeking an experienced Salesperson to join our team at Harris Farms Inc. As a sales professional, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy for onion products to expand market reach and increase revenue.
- Actively sell onions to food service providers, wholesalers, distributors, and grocery chains.
- Identify new markets and opportunities for onion sales by analyzing market trends and customer needs.
- Coordinate with the production and shipping teams to ensure timely delivery of onion orders.
- Monitor onion inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Attend trade shows, agricultural expos, and industry events to promote Harris Fresh onions and build brand awareness.
- Provide feedback to management about customer preferences and market trends to guide production planning.
- Work closely with the Food Safety team to assure that all food safety policies are strictly adhered to.
- Perform accounting duties such as invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
