What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Insurance Account Manager position at Harris Insurance Services, Inc.?
Harris Insurance Services, Inc. is looking for a new member to join our team. This opportunity is intended for someone that has prior commercial lines account management experience. The successful candidate will have worked in a commercial insurance agency environment and managed a book of small to medium-sized commercial accounts. Preference will be given to candidates with previous construction insurance experience. The day-to-day work consists of working with Producers to write new and renew existing commercial lines business, client customer service, marketing of accounts, claim handling, invoicing/billing, book of business expiration management, insurance requirement contractual review, OCIP/CCIP insurance review, and certificate of insurance issuance. In addition, the candidate will need to have had previous experience using agency management software, preferably AMS 360. The commercial account manager we are seeking has the following:
- A strong desire to assist Producers renew existing business and write new business
- At least 3-5 years of direct experience working with commercial insurance clients
- A personality that can positively affect others
- Developed customer service skills
- A glass that is always full or at a minimum half full
- A Nevada insurance license (or an insurance license from another state)
- Adaptation skills that would rival those of MacGyver
