What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Technician position at Harris Manufacturing?
Harris Waste Management Group, Inc. has an immediate opening for millwright in the assembly shop. This position reports to the Assembly Lead. The ideal candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to work with team members on the assembly shop team.
Responsibilities:
· Complete daily work assignments to all team members while completing own scheduled tasks assigned by Assembly Lead and Assembly Superintendent.
· Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot and provide solutions to production based issues when necessary.
· Follow and comply with all Harris procedures in accordance with Environmental, Health and Safety.
Ideal Candidate Must Haves:
· Ability to understand Harris blue prints.
· Must maintain Housekeeping in this area
· Ability to maintain Parts inventories for the machines being built
· Strong communication skills
· Knowledge of millwright fabrication, welding structural components, and hydraulic equipment.
· Be able to troubleshoot Harris systems
· Ability to organize and plan the day to day work tasks for the assembly of Harris equipment.
