Responsibilities Include:
- Adherence to ALL Safety, Animal Welfare, Food safety, GMP, HAACP & Compliance rules & Regulations
- Processing and completing work orders through the CMMS.
- Contacting & interacting with the in-house client, in a professional manner to ascertain their equipment needs.
- Ordering equipment supplies, repair modules, and sundries for the order.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics.
- Installation & Demolition of climate control systems, refrigeration units, and beverage equipment.
- Observing, testing & operating newly installed systems.
- Troubleshooting refrigeration, steam boiler, & HVAC equipment failures.
- Troubleshooting & replacing worn seals, control components, refrigeration & Steam valves, worn-out motors etc.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a refrigeration and Steam Boiler technician.
- HVAC certification. EPA Universal or ability to obtain within one year of hiring.
- Knowledge of local building & EPA codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and compliance schematics.
- Advanced mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with Windows applications.
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors in extreme weather & climate conditions.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
- Experienced in Ammonia refrigeration Operator (C) or Mechanic (B)
- Steam boiler experience
