We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team. The Order Picker will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately selected and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and safety while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Duties
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment based on customer requests.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move products safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse area.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with orders to the supervisor.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Good communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift items throughout the shift.
- Experience with operating warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) is advantageous but not required.
