What are the responsibilities and job description for the STOCKER Mezzanine Warehouse - 1st shift position at Harris Teeter Careers?
Responsible for cutting and stocking product for the mezzanine and slow grocery sections of the Single facility warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Read order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Work with the Inventory System to properly stock and replenish orders.
Retrieve cases for the rack locations and move to the flow racks.
Cut cases and remove excessive packaging while stocking cases.
Sort and place excessive product back in the racks and record the proper number on paperwork.
Fill requisitions or requests for stock items.
Use computer to enter records.
Move receiving cases from the C- spot locations to the pick slots
Perform additional job functions as requested by warehouse management member.
Follow Company's attendance policy by coming to work on time and when scheduled.
Follow Company's safety policies and procedures.
Operates equipment necessary to complete job safely 100% of the time.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software; and Internet software systems.
Certificates and Licenses:
Ability to successfully pass Industrial Equipment Certification testing on all equipment used to complete this job.
