Meat Cutter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products in accordance with food safety and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and portion different cuts of meat according to customer specifications
- Use knives and other cutting tools to prepare meat products
- Package and label meat products for display or storage
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cutting area
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and different cuts of meat
- Proficient in using knives and other cutting tools safely and effectively
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills to assist customers with their meat selection
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
