Pay Range: $22.50 to $33.76 USD
The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on a wide range of factors such as specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
As a Building Automation Procurement Agent, you will be responsible for negotiation, procurement and issuance of purchase orders of equipment and materials.
- Obtain material requirements from field and send out for quotations; Extend condensed specifications, pricing, etc. for bidding purposes.
- Collect submittal information for the design team. May manage submittal process for unique needs/projects.
- Issue Purchase Orders
- Resolve invoice/PO issues
- Expedite shipments/backorders and process material credits and returns
- Work closely with Estimating Dept., i.e. obtain vendor quotations, extend condensed specification, pricing, etc. for bidding purposes.
- Provide equipment price comparison on awarded jobs and issue large equipment PO’s.
- Credit Apps for local and out-of-state vendors
- Associates degree required, or 2-4 years of equivalent experience
- Understanding of organizational purchasing/procurement processes and procedures
- Material/equipment purchasing and expediting experience in the construction or similar industry preferred
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Professional
