Customer Support Associate

Harrisburg Connect is a small business consulting firm located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. We provide local brands and businesses with customized event marketing and advertising solutions that drive their brand recognition, promote new products and services, and increase revenue.

As a Customer Support Associate, you will connect with prospective customers and decision-makers and create noteworthy product experiences. The essential function of the Customer Support Associate position is to build relationships and establish trust with new customers, conduct educational product presentations, facilitate the enrollment process, and drive customer retention.

Customer Support Associate Responsibilities:

• Develop new relationships with customers by using a high degree of empathy and interpersonal skills
• Provide customers with product and service information, answer questions thoroughly and confidently, and handle concerns and complaints with the utmost care
• Assess the customer’s wants and needs and provide tailored product recommendations focusing on the quality of the products and brand
• Achieve customer satisfaction ratings by using consultative sales techniques and active listening skills to build genuine relationships with customers
• Identify issues and work alongside other Customer Support Associates to determine the best solution and drive growth in an assigned market
• Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all products, services, and promotions available

Customer Support Associate Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Customer Support Associate,, Retail Sales Associate, or any other applicable customer-facing experience
• Comfortable working in a people-oriented environment and building relationships with various personalities
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills - bonus if you thrive while presenting in a room full of people
• Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a dynamic, energetic team
• Positive and easygoing demeanor, but focused and determined when it comes to driving progress and achieving results
• Desire to be a part of an inclusive and diverse organization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
