ELECTRICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
The Harrisburg Electricians Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee of IBEW Local 143, is seeking applications for the apprenticeship training program.
All applicants must apply in person and complete the application at that time.

Applicants must be at least 17 years old. You MUST bring a certified copy of your high school transcripts or GED equivalent, completed and passed Algebra 1, have a valid PA driver’s license, and live within the Local’s jurisdiction.
Applications will be accepted on the
following dates : February 3, 2025,
March 3, 2025, April 7, 2025 and
May 5, 2025, between the hours of
9 : 00 AM and 4 : 00 PM.
All applications will be received without regards to race, color, religion, national origin, age or sex.

ABOUT IBEW LOCAL 143
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), founded in 1891, represents approximately 750,000 members in the fields of utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads, and government. The IBEW Local 143 was chartered on March 17, 1916. Since that time it has been dedicated to serving the Greater Harrisburg and surrounding areas with the best trained, most productive, safety-conscious electricians in the construction industry. Currently, Local 143 represents almost 600 members including Journeyman Wiremen, Sound and Communications Technicians, Construction Electricians and Wiremen, and each group’s respective Apprentices.
