POSITION: HS Special Education Teacher 25/26 SY
SALARY RANGE: $44,038 to $84,954 a year- Full time
Placement on the salary schedule will be competitive and commensurate with education,
experience, and work schedule. District policy GCBA will be implemented.
BENEFITS: Employer paid insurance CAP to assist with health, dental, and vision premiums, employer paid Basic Life and AD&D policies. Two (2) days of personal leave, ten (10) days sick leave, seven (7) paid holidays, and a generous PERS retirement contribution (if applicable) for a full-time position. Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week M-TH.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Oregon Teacher’s License with appropriate endorsement level required

JOB SUMMARY:
Create, oversee, and sustain a high-quality learning environment that supports student success. Collaborate with general education teachers to design, plan, and implement curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs for student success. At least one full-time educational assistant will be on your team to help provide instruction, assessment, and guidance support to students with Individualized Educational Plans across various academic subjects. The expected student caseload will be manageable.
