POSITION: High School Varsity Boys Basketball Head Coach STARTING DATE: TBD
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
A dedicated and experienced basketball coach committed to developing student-athletes on and off the court while fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. Adept at implementing effective coaching strategies, building strong relationships with players and the community, and ensuring compliance with all state and district regulations.
COACHING PHILOSOPHY & SKILLS:
- Passion for player development, leadership, and mentorship
- Strong understanding of game strategy, fundamentals, and advanced basketball concepts
- Proven ability to build and maintain a competitive basketball program
- Effective communicator with players, parents, and school administration
- Experience in fostering academic success and personal growth in student-athletes
- Ability to organize and lead practices, game preparation, and off-season training programs
STIPEND: $4100-$5500 and could be paired with other openings in the district

QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- In-depth knowledge of OSAA rules, regulations, and standards
- Familiarity with the District Coaches Handbook
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- Completion of all state-mandated certifications and district training will be required.
