Position Description
General Summary
The Finance Manager will perform advanced and semi-complex analysis and modeling for financial data and performance metrics and also provide recommendations based on the analysis performed. Manage a team of analysts performing these same functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans
- Provide timely and accurate reports of performance vs historical data and in comparison to the current budget
- Assist departments with assembling and summarizing performance metric data
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
- Manage a team of analysts performing these same duties and responsibilities
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, information systems, economics, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Along with a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible management experience

Knowledge of:
- Information systems and database tools
- Microsoft Power BI

Skilled in
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Database management and record-keeping

Ability to:
- Prioritize all levels of projects to meet timelines and weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently and as a member of a team
- Communicate in person and with groups
- Adhere to high standards of confidentiality
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This role is sedentary, however, the ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds is necessary to lift files and/or boxes of files, documents, etc.
Position Type and Typical Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours may vary based on the business needs of the department.
