Fueling Designer I

Description

Job Responsibilities:
• Designer will use 2D and 3D software to assist the Design Team in the development of designs and drafting construction documents in support of clients' building program
• Designer should utilize education and experience to independently tackle challenges as they arise on projects with the support of Design Team lead.
• Designer shall gain experience evaluating client requirements, building code, and zoning regulations to develop design recommendations.
• Provide technical design planning and coordination in a collaborative and multi-disciplined environment

Job Duties:
• Produce accurate construction documents detailing the client’s vision and goals
• Document and analyze existing conditions to produce as-built documents and reports (Travel required), as needed.
• Conduct building code analysis and research regulatory requirements to determine design constraints
• Develop design options and alternates
• Coordinate components and systems with other disciplines to develop construction documents based on the client’s requirements
• Designer shall perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to the Engineer of Record for signing and sealing
• Depending on needs of client and team, Designer could have direct contact with client on a regular basis

Education Requirements: Equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design or an Architectural Studies degree preferred, but not required.
