Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement claims management policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee a large team of claims professionals, ensuring clear expectations, training, and performance management.
- Monitor claims trends, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting to optimize results.
- Lead resolution of complex claims, escalations, and disputes, working closely with agents, policyholders, attorneys, and law enforcement.
- Ensure strict compliance with Oklahoma state laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Negotiate rates and partnerships with defense counsel.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align claims strategy with business growth.
- Track and report unclaimed property to the state, ensuring full compliance.
Who We’re Looking For
- 10 years of claims management experience, with a strong background in leading teams and optimizing department performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Oklahoma Adjuster License (or ability to obtain).
- Deep understanding of insurance regulations, claims processes, and legal compliance.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build strong business relationships and deliver exceptional service.
