This role involves direct interaction with clients, beneficiaries, and other professionals to provide exceptional fiduciary services.
What You'll Be Doing
Trust Administration
- Interpret and manage trust documents, trust accounting principles, and tax reporting activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic financial guidance.
- Process distribution requests promptly while adhering to internal compliance procedures.
- Act as a trusted advisor to beneficiaries, third-party administrators, and service professionals.
- Ensure proper execution of account reviews, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare presentations for internal committee review.
- Administer a complex book of personal trust accounts, which may include pooled or court-supervised trusts.
What You Bring
Communication & Client Interaction
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with clients, beneficiaries, legal representatives, and financial professionals.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and trust accounting software.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including secure communication protocols.
Organization & Professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Maintain accurate client records and update CRM systems as needed.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trust administration, estate planning, or financial services.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to travel for client meetings and business development.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
