Harrison Gray Search is recruiting on behalf of an elite insurance provider seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support its Binding Authority team in Atlanta, GA. Key Responsibilities
Handle and resolve Help Desk tickets related to Binding Authority systems.
Collaborate with Accounting to resolve premium discrepancies.
Assist with premium audits, underwriting audits, and inspection reviews .
Perform initial policy review for newly appointed agents.
Compile and analyze management reports using internal systems.
Respond to website inquiries and phone requests in a timely manner.
Log and distribute referral submissions to underwriters .
Support additional projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications
5 years of prior insurance experience (Binding Authority experience a plus).
General Liability and Property coverage experience preferred .
Strong organizational and customer service skills .
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) .
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong math aptitude and problem-solving abilities .
Team-oriented mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
