Computer Technician I
QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess knowledge of and skill in the following: Microsoft Windows Desktop, ChromeOS, IOS, Android OS, and basic configurations of each.

A Certification and/or applicable experience
-
Possess ability to communicate well and interact on a professional level with both district staff and students.

Organize, troubleshoot, and solve IT related tasks with little supervision, and work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Show patience with end users
-
Possess a good work ethic
-
Possess reliable transportation
-
Possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds due to equipment requirements, good vision / hearing, and ability to work at extreme heights on ladders and lifts.

Multi-tasking abilities with frequent interruptions required

Prolonged sitting and standing required

Stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting required

Physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials required

Ability to work in stressful and hectic environments required

JOB GOAL: To implement and maintain district technology.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
-
The position will have the responsibility for hardware, infrastructure and software technical support for the Harrison School District. This could include, but is not limited to, computer installation, configuration and transport; software installation and configuration; network configuration and maintenance; wireless configuration and support; security control; and end-user technical support. District Coordinator has the option to assign any other duties necessary.
