Harrison School District is accepting applications for a English for Speakers of Other Languages/Migrant Teacher for the 2025/2026 school year. The position will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) Pre-K-12 teaching
position. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:
● Job Requirements: (Include, but not limited to)
o Arkansas DESE ELL certification
o Arkansas Qualified Teacher Status
o Science of Reading certification
o Create and deliver specialized instruction following ELL standards
o Utilize High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM)
o Create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth
o Paperwork and testing documentation
o Effective engagement of students in the classroom
o Formulate positive relationships and collaboration with parents, students, and other staff members
o Demonstrate effective communication within the school community
o Must engage in collaboration and the PLC process
o Attain or possess Google Level One Certification
