What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Oral Communications and Drama Teacher position at Harrison School District?
Harrison School District is accepting applications for a 9-12 secondary Oral Communication / Drama position for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) teaching position. Primary duties will focus on secondary Oral Communication / Drama educational services. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required.
Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:

Create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth

create and deliver specialized instruction following Oral Comm/Drama standards.

utilize HQIM

establish effective rapport with pupils
-
motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation per each pupil’s ability

formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members
-
develop and maintain the required paperwork

be experienced in examining, interpreting, and using student assessment data

demonstrate effective communication within the school community

effectively use learning management systems and digital resources (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.)

attain or possess Google Level One Certification
