Secondary Oral Communications and Drama Teacher

Harrison School District is accepting applications for a 9-12 secondary Oral Communication / Drama position for the 2025-2026 school year. The position will be a full-time (1.0 FTE) teaching position. Primary duties will focus on secondary Oral Communication / Drama educational services. Applicants must possess appropriate Arkansas DESE certification. Previous experience is preferred but not required. 

Harrison School District is seeking an individual who will:

• Create a class environment conducive to learning and personal growth

• create and deliver specialized instruction following Oral Comm/Drama standards.

• utilize HQIM 

• establish effective rapport with pupils 

• motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation per each pupil’s ability

• formulate positive relationships with parents, students, and other staff members

• develop and maintain the required paperwork

• be experienced in examining, interpreting, and using student assessment data

• demonstrate effective communication within the school community

• effectively use learning management systems and digital resources (Canvas, Google Classroom, etc.)

• attain or possess Google Level One Certification
