What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cleaning Room Clerk II position at Harrison Steel Castings Co.?
Harrison Steel has an opening for a Clerk in the Cleaning Room. This employee will perform general office duties such as data entry and process documentation for the Cleaning Room Department. Additionally, will assist with various tasks throughout the Foundry. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Performs general clerical and data entry duties
- Enters and verifies accuracy of various types of data entered into Excel, EPS, SharePoint or any other pertinent software programs
- Assists with researching, troubleshooting, and assisting others with various questions/ issues regarding the data within the EPS system and/or any other related systems, as well as general departmental questions/issues
- Takes production photos to include in process sheets
- Assembles and creates process documents and monitors revisions
- Researching, troubleshooting, and answering questions related to our internal systems and documents
- Assist with various computer-related tasks
- Follows job work instructions and training matrix where applicable
Qualifications and Skills
- Independently motivated and prioritizes and checks own work
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
- Works safely and observes all safety procedures
- High school diploma or GED required
Work Environment:
The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration. Also, exposure to outdoor weather conditions, non-weather related extreme cold, water and humidity, and the risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. The usual noise level is very loud. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
