Underground Infrastructure Technologies (UIT), LLC. is a full-service contractor specializing in trenchless technologies headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado. We provide wet and dry utility installations utilizing trenchless technologies to complete projects for Departments of Transportation, Federal and State agencies, local municipalities, sewer and water districts as well as private development organizations. We have successfully completed projects for both public and private entities, with sizes ranging from 20” through 120” in diameter.

Position Summary:
We are looking for experienced Construction Laborers to join our growing team. Laborers work under the direction of other field personnel performing physical activities in support of completing utility construction jobs. Laborers are vital to the success of the crew and job and should be able to trouble shoot and follow directions to ensure the job is completed safely and accurately.
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Assists crew leader in construction and maintenance work.
- Cleans and prepares construction jobsites to eliminate possible hazards.
- Works with specialized equipment, the type of equipment varies depending on the job.
- Load or unload materials to use at the jobsite.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Report to job site everyday – job sites vary; Out-of-State travel may be required up to 30%.

- The majority of UIT’s work is in the Colorado Front Range area.
- Gas allowance at around 50 miles from the Lakewood office.
- Per diem starting after 75 miles from the Lakewood office.
- Work in a safe manner at all times.
Required skills:
- 1 year construction experience, preferably in utility construction preferred.
- Ability to travel.
- Ability to take direction from leadership.
- Ability to recognize safety risks and hazards.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Work standing, sitting or other physical positions.
- Work in outdoor elements in all types of terrain and with all types of weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license & reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.
- Ability to work overtime when needed, including nights and weekends.
- AWS welding certificate D1.1-1 (Structural welding – Steel) strongly preferred
- Heavy equipment (excavator) operation experience is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $22.00 - $27.00/Hour - DOE
