What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Technology Instructor for the school year position at Harrisonville Cass?
The Construction Technology Instructor will perform duties related to student success by utilizing classroom and laboratory instruction, industry certification preparation, work-based learning, maintenance of a program advisory committee and Career & Technical Student Organizations (CTSO's).
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's Degree or high preferred
- Minimum of three years verifiable construction industry work experience within the last ten years
- Missouri Career & Technical Education Teaching Certificate. If candidate does not hold a current Missouri Career & Technical Education teaching certificate, certification coursework must be completed within three years
- Current OSHA Trainer Certification or the ability to earn certification within the first year of employment
- Demonstration of highest levels of integrity and professionalism in all aspects, including appearance, demeanor and attitude
- Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
- Solid computer software skills
