POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for accurately picking product (finished gifts) using an RF scanner in cold storage (-10° to 40°).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pick product using a RF scanner in cold storage pulling the correct SKU and quantity
- Use RF scanner to input data into warehouse management system
- Palletize product and moves pallet to staging area using a hand-jack
- Able to meet or exceed production standards
- Comply with all SQF (safe Quality Food) standards
- Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
EDUCATION AND/OOR EXPERIENCE
- Some high school education required
- 6 months experience working in a distribution center desirable
- Basic reading and math skills (counting, matching, adding, subtracting, and multiplying) required
- PC skills or previous inventory scanning equipment experience required
PHYSICAL DEMAND AND WORK EFFORT
- Able to work in cold storage for the entire shift (-10° to 40°)
- Able to walk and stand for the entire shift (10-12 hours)
- Utilize a hand-jack in a controlled and safe environment
- Able to lift 20-30 lbs. continuously, and 50lbs. occasionally
- Able to climb stairs in cooler and freezer
- Able to maintain reasonable and reliable attendance
