The IRA Cycle Counter II (W/E Shift) is responsible for cycle counting components and finished goods inventory, ground and elevated levels in the warehouse, shipping and production areas. This function serves as both a measure and corrective action maintaining high inventory record accuracy (99%).
Job Description:
- Routinely cycle count inventory by following Warehouse.
- Able to successfully complete pre-employment screening and training class.
- Management System (WMS) directions.
- Safely handle materials in and out of fixed rack locations, some of which are double deep, multi-pallet locations up to 40 feet in height.
- Accurately count/verify Handling Unit (HU) quantities and batches.
- "Search and Rescue" lost product.
- Product rotation and retrieval for consolidation to minimize storage needs.
- Audit – receiving, pick and put away processes and finished product in shipping locations.
- Be aware of surroundings for possible safety hazards and alert co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain reasonable and reliable attendance.
Physical Demands:
- Standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching while gripping and lifting boxes weighing up to 50lbs or more at all levels from floor to above the head.
- Ability to work in demanding circumstances (crowded conditions, cold storage (-10 to 40 degrees), for entire shift (8-10 hrs.)
Schedule:
6:00am - 6:30pm Fri, Sat, Sun with expected overtime during peak.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1 to 2 years experience operating double reach forklift. - Required.
- 1 to 2 years experience in inventory control. - Required.
- 1 year using inventory scanning Radio Frequency (RF) equipment – Preferable.
- Excellent reading and math skills (counting, adding and subtracting) required.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening.
- Must successfully pass pallet quiz to be considered for employment.
