What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator 2 Fruit Pack Flume Operator position at Harry and David?
This Fruit Flume System Controller is responsible for the operation of the pear dumper while recording chemical usage and monitoring chemical levels in the tank. In addition, this position will mix chemicals for the Fruit Flume System and must wear protective gear, which is provided. Training will be provided including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Requirements:- High School diploma, GED Certificate or equivalent work-related experience is preferred.
- Some previous work-related experience preferred, but not required.
- Performing physical activities that require use of hands/wrist, walking, bending, balancing, twisting reaching, lifting a minimum of 50 pounds (less 10% of time) and standing for full shifts.
- Will be working in dust noise and varied temperatures (36˚- 85˚).
- Must be flexible to schedule changes.
- This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
