What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator 3 Specialty Pack position at Harry and David?
The Materials Coordinator 3 involves accurately counting and labeling/bar-coding product going to and from the warehouse, end of run counting of components within specified time frame, conducting weekly cycle counts, as well as assisting production. Knowledge in SAP/EWM systems or equivalent. This position also assists in production tasks when inventory reconciliation is up to date.
- Labeling/bar-coding product going to and from the warehouse as well as assisting Production.
- Maintains a safe, sanitary and organized work environment.
- During slower periods, this position is expected to work on the production floor.
- May be operating forklift type of equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED Certificate or equivalent work-related experience is preferred.
- Some previous work-related experience preferred, but not required.
- Performing physical activities that require use of hands/wrist, walking, bending, balancing, twisting reaching, lifting a minimum of 50 pounds (less 10% of time) and standing for full shifts.
- Will be working in dust noise and varied temperatures (36˚- 85˚).
- Must be flexible to schedule changes.
- This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
