What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor position at Harry and David?
The Supervisor is responsible for training, supervision and accuracy of the work being performed by the line staff. Additional responsibilities include training of processes and procedures, assigning personnel to teams and tasks, accurate and timely record keeping, documentation of employee activities and time keeping.

- Train and verify team leader and other personnel duties and tasks.
- Coaches, counsels and writes PIA's. Some direct contact with Human Resources/ Employee Relations.
- Assigns personnel to work teams and /or tasks.
- Achieves standards of efficiency, quality, and record accuracy. Assures production is performed accurately, timely and efficiently.
- Verifies timesheets/ timecards.
- Use Basic Principles and confidentiality when dealing with coworkers.
- Verifies timesheets/ timecards.
- Reports unsafe or unusual condition of equipment, materials and product to Supervisor.
- Promotes continuous process improvement and waste reduction.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
- 1-2 years previous work-related experience preferred.
- Must lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds, and withstand a production environment with exposure to dust, occasional fumes and varying production and cold storage.
- Work performed will be in a production environment with possible exposure to food allergens, dust, varying temperatures, loud noise level and occasional fumes and chemicals.
- Must be flexible with regard to job assignments as days, hours and support tasks may vary depending on production needs. Weekends and overtime may be required.
