What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wine Team Member position at Harry’s Restaurant & Bar?
Harry’s Restaurant Group is seeking a Sommelier/Server to join our wine team at our flagship restaurant HARRY'S located at One Hanover Square in the Financial District of NYC. This is an intro position into the wine business. Would be working 2-3 days a week as a floor sommelier, 2-3 days a week as a server on the floor.
The main requirement is to be willing to learn and have a hunger for knowledge. Understanding proper service is a priority, we will teach and taste to improve the base of knowledge to join the rank of the many wine professionals who have passed through Harry's throughout the decades. Harry's has one of the most extensive wine collections in the city, over 2900 skus with a healthy selection dating to the 1960's. Cellar Maintenance is a part of the job.
