Job Description
General Description: Under general supervision is responsible for performing a variety of routine laboratory tests in support customer.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Harsco Lab Technician is responsible for testing and verifying incoming stainless-steel scrap at our facility. The Lab Technician will also assist in the inspection of incoming stainless steel scrap metal.
Performing product testing using a Spectrometer
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of all lab supplies and equipment
Assisting with the upkeep of the Spectrometer and other lab equipment
Assisting to maintain all test records
Perform product testing using a Niton Gun
Other duties, as necessary
