Maintenance Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our Residential Substance Use Treatment team . The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate mechanical knowledge. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall functionality and safety of our facilities.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues and address them promptly.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
- Assist in residential facility improvement projects as needed.
- Fabricate and weld components as required for repairs or new installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or residents.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed.

Requirements
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general mechanical repair is essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
