Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth operation of our financial systems. This role requires a strong understanding of QuickBooks or Sage 50 and the ability to handle the unique financial needs of a billboard business.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting transactions using Sage 50 Accounting software

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

Assist with payroll data for payroll processing through 3rd party.

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

Monitor and manage cash flow, budj, and forecasting.

Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.

Support Accountant with filing of tax returns and other compliance documents.

Conduct quarterly and annual financial close processes.

Maintain an organized and accurate record-keeping system.

Handle vendor and client invoicing and payments.

Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.

Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience as a bookkeeper.

Knowledge of QuickBooks or Sage 50.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is a Notary, or willing to become a Notary.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
